Welcome One and All,

I have been asked so many times over the years to place a page on the web regarding Witchcraft, Occult and Magick, especially for people born and/or living in Asia, (but not entirely solely so, as everyone from around the world are welcome of course).

Finally, I bowed to the pressure and have tried to bring together a selection of topics that can introduce this rather deep subject, which I hope everyone will understand.

We have a unique Research Group, in which this site is dedicated.  The Research Group practically studies and discusses pragmatic occult philosophies and magickal sciences from around the world, such as Wicca, Traditional Witchcraft, Chaos Magic, High Magick, Druidism, South American Voodoo, Shamanism and Chinese Taoist Sciences, divinatory practices, among many others.

This group also has an on-line chat group within it and people from around the world are logging on for meaningful discussions and can be found at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Coven-of-Cythrawl/

We also presently have more than one working Craft Coven operating here but work alone and is not simply joined by being a member of the Research Group.

Interested parties in the Research Group, who are not ready to meet in person can also write in, (which will be posted on the website's pages, or in the Chat Group, if wanted) and can exchange views and  information, whereby any newcomers can also still ask questions anonymously, until they feel a little more comfortable with the subject, before discussing directly or meeting in person.

For those brothers and sisters who have already been initiated elsewhere and are presently living away from home in Asia specifically;  all of whom may be looking for a Group or a Coven here of their own to join you may inquire for more information and I hope this might be the first step in making their dreams come true.

I apologize for the site being perhaps a little messy at the present time, but I'm doing the best that I can and I'm hoping that the content can make up for the messiness, to reach out to the hearts and minds of true seekers.

As I have pointed out, joining the Research Group does not constitute any recruitment to any "Covens or Orders" per se, or "How to Do Spells", as that is beyond the scope of a any internet group, and of course mere words, and actually most Orders and Covens are extremely secretative and not easy to penetrate – especially nowadays, and have strict vetting procedures.

The idea of the Research Group is to cater to everyone who might be interested in the Old Religions and practices that is being continued today, as long as it is relevant to the group's ethos and any physical meetings that we arrange for people living within the area can help those of any age that turn up and help start them on the path proper. While the chat group allows people from anywhere around the world, of any age and/or experience to openly chat – SO THAT WE MAY ALL LEARN FROM EACH OTHER.

I also believe that there are many wonderful and informative sites on the net nowadays and I will be seeking these sites' permission to place links on my pages to point people there too for further information.

"The Research Group" (and the resultant chat group), was developed in the hope that it might "properly" educate all interested persons, with absolutely no cost or commitment to those individuals, and hopefully dispelling the rubbish that appears to frequent this subject in general, while attempting to instill a perceived genuine path concept, and even perhaps attract any first tentative steps from interested persons into the occult and Wicca itself.

The information on this site is free for all to look and learn and perhaps widen the usually misguided perception of what Wicca or occult practices around the world, whatever their ethnic or geographical backgrounds are.

I certainly don't want to deter anyone from asking any relevant questions whatsoever, as that is what this group is all about, but hope to keep it in some semblance of order and in line with the "Path" as a whole which often coincides with levels of maturity within us all.

What I want to try and achieve, is to offer an appropriate door on which people in general, especially in Asia, can knock after reading this; and perhaps feel they are in tune with what they see and read here, (and elsewhere); and therein be willing and prepared to take the next step perchance, in joining like-minded individuals in peace and harmony.

There are truly more people than you might realize in and around Asia, who are extremely interested in Witchcraft, the Old Religions and Magick, (in its many forms), as well as the additional subjects of divination, (east & west) and Pathworking.  Many are local born and bred and others are expatriates from abroad and living here for the present.

All have also expressed an interest in other forms of magick, such as Shamanism, South American Voodoo, and Chinese Magick, besides  European Witchcraft and; if they are to venture forth at all in finally joining the growing number of brothers and sisters of the "Arts" worldwide; then let it be done correctly.

Most genuine Occult groups can trace a long history – both as a group and individually and – the heartbeat of Occult and Witchcraft today must always reside in the old established Covens and Temples of such. However, in saying this, we must try and pass on truths and assistance to those seekers that knock on the door to learn and I'm hoping that this Group can assist with this.

And especially for seekers  who wrote into our group with reference to white and black, (fluffy or dark), let me again say that there's actually no such thing as a good or white witch, or inversely, as bad or black witch, but an admirable shade of grey. It's what you do and how you use these powers for that makes it so. Each person is answerable only to those powers to which he or she is oathed to and works with, but remembering the axiom, "Do as ye will e're it harm none."

True initiation actually comes from within oneself and all I can do in the physical experience is guide a seeker and take them on a journey that invokes that inner spiritual side of them to enable him or her to make that commitment and self-initiation to themselves.

The trappings of the Circle are but props to aid in effect and inner visualization and the initiation follows a rather strict tradition dating back far before Gardner and if it is done properly, releases a great flood of emotion and a deep moving happening is experienced.

I have the necessary support and full permission of my superiors from the Old Country, where I was born, raised and initiated and we sincerely hope that our present (and working) "hived covens" here can grow accordingly.

Singapore is so central within Asia and open minded enough to understand that we come together in peace and appreciation of our growing arcane & pagan community. One only has to walk into any bookshop nowadays to see new counters full of occult books and avid readers constantly browsing through them and see the prolific expansion around the world to realize that it is here to stay and therefore, I wish to hopefully point people in the right direction to prevent them from falling prey to outlandish claims and groups that appear to want only their money. For all those that have been waiting so patiently for official and recognized Coven subjects, let us commence to Merry Meet, Merry Part, and Merry Meet Again.

Blessed be!
